Summary
Defying Amdahl’s Law – DAL
Total project duration: IV.2011 – III.2016
Overall project summary: The project explores the microarchitecture techniques required to enable high performance on heterogeneous processor chips built of a huge number of small and cores (used for parallel computations) and a few big cores (a.k.a. sequential accelerators, for sequential parts of the code).
Contact person: André Seznec, principal investigator, France
My role
Research on Performance, Power and Reliability Constraints for Sequential Accelerators in Future Manycore Processors. The research also involve DVFS model implementation in manycore systems.
